Travelling has been drastically changed post-pandemic. As the borders re-openned, new regulations are inplace to protect the local citizens and foreigners. Prior to travelling to Thailand, make sure that you go through this checklist to ensure a seemless and stress-free arrival to the land of smiles.

Step 1: What type of traveller are you?
a. Fully Vaccinated from the Listed Countries
There are currently 63 countries who are approved to travel to Thailand without mandatory quarantine or sandbox regulations. Travelers of these countries are required a one-night stay at any ASQ or SHA+ hotels while they await for their RT-PCR test result.
b. Fully Vaccinated under Sandbox Program (for all countries)
If your country is not among the 63 listed countries, you will still be able to travel to Thailand. The sandbox program allows you travel to designated areas such as Bangkok, Pattaya, Hua Hin, Chang Mai, Phuket, or Koh Samui. Upon arrival in Thailand, you will be required to spenda minimum of 7 nights at any approved SHA+ hotel in the mentioned areas.
c. Non-Vaccinated under Quarantine Program
If you are non-vaccinated or partially vaccinated, you can still travel to Thailand however, you must undergo through a mandatory quarantine of 7 nights in any of the accredited ASQ or AQ quarantine hotels before being allowed to travel within Thailand.
Step 2. Prepare your Thailand Pass
Thailand pass acts as a Certificate of Entry for all travellers to Thailand. This ensures a seemless travel to the land of smiles since it will be collecting insurance certifications, testing results and vaccine certificates to facilitate the filling of TM6 and T8 forms. The requirements to obtain a Thailand Pass would be the following:
Passport
Vaccination Certificate or Card
COVID-19 Health Insurance Certificate ( covers a minimum of $50000 USD)
Confirmed ASQ or SHA+ bookign with pre booked RT PCR tests
Flight booking
How to apply?
Thailand pass is basically a QR code that will be provided by the Thailand Embassy. It will be scanned prior to your departure and upon your arrival. You would have to go through the steps below to obtain a code.
Register at the Thailand Pass web portal
Input your details
Upload a the required documents
Save the confirmation given to you moments after the registration
Wait for the approval (1 hour - 7 days maximum)
Receive the QR Entry code or Thailand Pass ID
Once you have performed the above tests, pack you bags and head to the tropical paradise!
